Delete your account

Your cellar is yours
to remove.

Deleting a Bottle&Ink account permanently removes its wine library, fridge quantities, personal notes, chat messages, ratings, device sessions, private label photos, and related account data from the active service.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Bottle&Ink on the remembered device.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm the permanent action.

The app removes private photo objects before removing the account record. If storage cleanup cannot finish safely, it leaves the account intact and asks you to retry.

Delete without the app

Before losing access to the app, create a deletion recovery credential in Settings and store it somewhere safe. Enter that credential below to permanently delete the anonymous device account without a signed-in session.

It begins with bni_. The credential is shown only once when you create or rotate it.

Rotation and recovery

Creating a new deletion credential immediately invalidates the previous one. If you lose it while the remembered app is still installed, create a new one in Settings. Because the account has no email or password, neither we nor the server can recover a lost credential after the app and its device credentials are gone.

What may remain

We may retain narrowly limited records when required by law, to document a completed privacy request, or in time-limited processor backups that are isolated from normal use until expiration. We do not retain deleted cellar content for advertising.
